New Fuhr Tipsafe development announced by Carl F
Hardware supplier Carl F Petersen Ltd announces a new side bolt fixing development for FUHR’s tilt and turn hardware ‘Tipsafe’. The popular product, which Carl F has supplied for over twenty years, provides tilt first gearing with multi-point locking by adjustable rollers.
Reporting on the initiative, Carl F Petersen’s Business Development Manager, Bruce Bradshaw said:
“The fixing advancement is designed to ease and enhance the work of fabricators as it addresses issues of over complicated gearing that can, for the less experienced, slow down the window fitting process.
“Tilt & turn gearing can sometimes appear fiddly but the new clip-in side bolt just made things a whole lot easier.
“A small additional component helps to ensure the correct location of the drive rail by clipping into the eurogroove: the simple ‘mushroom shape’ plastic component retains the part in position while screws are inserted and remains in place without interfering with the operation of the finished assembly.”
With Tipsafe, tilt and turn windows as small as 391mm x 411mm, or as large as 1220mm x 2200mm, can be quickly and reliably assembled.
