Letter plate completes co-ordinated Carl F range
Carl F Petersen Ltd has added the Trojan Unicorn letter plate to its expanding product range. Completing Carl F’s suite of co-ordinated Trojan products, the letter plate sits alongside a door handle, door hinge and window handle from the same manufacturer.
Equalling the high quality construction of other products in the Trojan stable, the Unicorn letter plate features pressed stainless steel flaps that shroud the surround. Carl F reports that the letter plate has clearly been developed with the end-user in mind: particular attention has been paid to ergonomics, with a folded lip for ease of use and attractive design aesthetics. A complete seal for the external flap provides a full thermal and acoustic barrier.
Conventional plastic springs are replaced by a stainless steel torsion solution to improve performance: tests have confirmed that this achieves loads more than double that of a conventional plastic pivot/torsion spring system. Additionally, the Unicorn letter plate is differentiated from other products as it can be opened to 180º, this eliminates excessive leverage on the pivots giving the letter plate increased functionality and an enhanced life span.
