Carl F report interactive initiatives maximise show interest
Whilst confirming the general view that this year's Glassex was a quieter event than 2006, Carl F - who were represented on the DeWalt stand - reported that a hands-on formula drew a healthy level of visitors to the display.
DeWalt's strong brand and the opportunity to use drills/assemble products had high appeal, particularly with installers, who were able to make on-the-spot purchases.
Commenting, Louise Lai, Carl F Marketing Manager said:
"From the exhibitor's perspective, Carl F believes that the way forward to create impact at Glassex is to provide a real reason to come onto the stand. People in this industry appreciate being able to test the products and DeWalt excels at offering a workshop environment."
Among the most popular DeWalt product lines featured in the Carl F direct catalogue and on-line shop was a 36V rotary hammer drill launched at the show which was included in a daily £1,000 prize draw organised by DeWalt.
