Carl F Petersen Ltd. was originally established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Danish, family owned, Carl F Group. In January 2007, the bulk of the group was acquired by Sanistål, a large company, with some shared products and activities. Some of the original Carl F business was integrated into Sanistål. All business outside Denmark was formed into a distinct company, Carl F International, with subsidiaries or regional offices in 15 countries around the world.
In October 2009, Carl F Petersen Ltd was sold to Tommico Ltd, a holding company whose only other trading company is Groupco Ltd.
Carl F Petersen Ltd. was first established in the UK in 1989 to serve the PVC-u replacement window and door industry. This remains our core market and our principal activity, although now with the addition of Carl F direct, a direct mail and e-commerce business, the company has diversified into the broader 'light construction industry'.
Carl F offers a range of products including door hardware, window hardware and ventilation. We aim to deliver the best collection of leading brands available to suit customers' needs and reach a high level of satisfaction.
